Suno Downloader Not Working? Every Cause and Fix
When a Suno download fails, the cause is almost always one of seven things, and only some of them are fixable. This page maps each error to its meaning so you stop retrying the ones that will never work.
Quick answer: Fails with 'not found or not public' → the song is private or deleted (not fixable). Fails after several downloads today → daily free limit (fix: tomorrow, or credits). Link pastes fine but resolve spins → the song page moved or is region-locked (fix: try desktop browser). Everything else is on the list below.
1. 'Song not found or not public'
The song page exists for you in a logged-in session but the song is actually private, or the author deleted it after you copied the link. The public page carries no media links in either case. No tool can fix this — ask the author for a public share link.
2. Daily limit reached
Free lookups reset at midnight UTC (5 a day — enough for a listening session, not for archiving a channel). The site tells you clearly when you hit the wall; wait for reset or load credits once (30 for $2.99). Cached songs you already resolved never count, so re-downloading your earlier finds stays free.
3. 'Suno returned 4xx/5xx'
Suno's site briefly errored or rate-limited the shared infrastructure every downloader depends on. Wait a minute and retry once. Persistent 403s across hours usually mean Suno changed their page structure — this site's resolver tracks that within a day; no settings on your end matter.
4. The download opens in a tab instead of saving
Some mobile browsers preview audio files. Long-press the download button → 'Download linked file' (Safari) or use the ⋮ menu in Chrome Android. The file itself is served with an attachment header; it's the browser being clever.
5. Video button missing
The song was generated without video. There is no MP4 anywhere — audio will still download. See the video downloader page for what does and doesn't exist.
6. File plays but shows 0:00 duration
Rare player bug with streamed M4A files. The file is fine — open in VLC, or import into any editor; duration metadata is the only casualty, and re-saving from VLC or ffmpeg -i in.m4a -c copy out.m4a rebuilds it.
7. Extension/app 'downloaders' that never worked
If you arrived here from a random 'Suno downloader' app that wants permissions or an install: that was the scam, not a broken feature. Web-based resolution (this page) needs no installs, and nothing in the official Suno app exposes download links to third-party apps.
What this site doesn't do
- No fix exists on any tool for private or deleted songs — beware of anyone claiming otherwise.
- We don't mass-download and we don't bypass Suno's rate limits.
